We invite you to participate in a new class series at Quilted Threads for machine embroiderers. Launching this month, our School of Embroidery will focus on teaching and exploring a range of machine embroidery techniques, with all the tips, tricks, and support our experienced staff has to offer. Participants will use their own sewing machine and embroidery module in class, and because it is NOT limited to BERNINA brand machines, students must have a basic knowledge of operating and trouble-shooting their own sewing machine and embroidery module.

In the first class, students will complete a free-standing lace (FSL) coaster, and after learning the technique and acquiring all the tips associated with FSL, they will have the skills necessary to go home and stitch out a FSL picture frame.

In addition to the class fee, the purchase of a $15 kit is required for the class, which will include all materials needed for the project: fabric, an assortment of stabilizers, a spool of Isacord thread, and 3 design files (a $25 retail value).
