On one Thursday a month, Gerald Roy will be hosting Quilt Appraisals at Quilted Threads.

These appraisals, scheduled by appointment only, are an opportunity for you to have your quilts – antique, old, or new – examined and reviewed by a Certified Quilt Appraiser. Depending on the service you have selected (see descriptions, below) you will receive feedback ranging from written legal documents for insurance/sale/donation purposes, to a verbal analysis of “what you have.”

The following list describes the services available with Gerald Roy, by appointment only, at Quilted Threads.

Quilt Appraisals – Old or New
Written Legal Document for insurance, sale, or donation purposes.
$65 per 1 hour appointment for each quilt
Please note that this is a special price for appraisals at Quilted Threads! Gerald Roy’s standard Written Appraisal Fee is $75.

Quilt Analysis
Verbal – “What You Have” – analysis; no values given
$50 per 1 hour appointment for each quilt.

Quilt Clinic
Antique Quilts with problems – diagnosis and suggested treatment
$50 per 1 hour appointment for each quilt.

Quilt Consultation for Groups of Quilts
Gerald Roy will make recommendations for those that should be appraised,
and make price suggestions for those for sale.
Separate appointments will have to be made for those chosen for appraisal.
$65 per 1 hour appointment.

Quilt Design Consultation
Quilts in progress or in the planning stages – color, composition, design.
Visuals – not techniques!
$50 per hour (per 1 client)
