Instructor: Jo Diggs

Combine wild, wonderful, or oddball fabrics* to create underwater scenes of bright fish and swaying, brilliant kelp. Scenes are nature-inspired but more fanciful than literal. *Elegantly quiet fabrics work well, too!

You’ll learn Jo’s technique of direct cutting using simple shapes in many layers, enabling you to design your quilt without patterns during the workshop. Jo will also demonstrate hand-stitching in class, but this is also a great project for machine stitching and embellishment.
